2016 Bullion American Silver Eagles Selling Fast

Bullion American Silver Eagles reached 4,072,000 in April 2016, which was slightly lower than March’s 4,106,000 coins, and yet it was 42.8% higher than April 2015, when their monthly total hit 2,851,500 coins.
2016 American Silver Eagles are running at a record pace
These coveted investor coins also advanced during the first few days of May by 675,500 so their year-to-date total came to 19,590,000 by Wednesday, which is 27.6% higher than the same time in record-breaking year 2015. For this week, another 410,000 remain available from the 1,085,500 coins that were allocated.
On the numismatic side, the 2016 Silver Proof Set was the number one weekly leader across all of the offerings. There were 7,749 sets ordered, according to the latest sales stats, and a total of 184,482 sets have sold since their launch on April 18.
The table below shows the latest sales stats for collector coins and related silver products from the U.S. Mint. Sunday, May 1, is the as of date for the standard collectibles and Wednesday, May 4, is the as of date for the bullion products.
