This last chronicles set of the year should sell out like the earlier ones. The first two, limited to 17,000 each and featuring Harry S. Truman and Dwight D. Eisenhower, sold out within 15 minutes of their launch. The last set for John F. Kennedy with its higher limit of 50,000 took longer at around two weeks, although more than 45,600 sold in the first 12 hours.

Priced at $57.95, the LBJ Coin & Chronicles Set has a product limit of 25,000.

The exceptional demand for 2015-dated Coin & Chronicles Sets is because of their reverse proof $1 coins. There is one in each set and they are exclusive to them. Reverse proofs are opposite of standard proofs, featuring frosty fields and raised mirror-like devices. Three have been issued in the dollar series to date, with this set’s coin the fourth.

In addition to the reverse proof, the set includes a Lyndon B. Johnson medal struck in one ounce of .999 fine silver. The U.S. Mint at Philadelphia makes the reverse proof dollar and the silver medal but only the coin has a ‘P’ mint mark.

Rounding out the chronicles set is a 1973 U.S. 8-cent LBJ postage stamp and an informational booklet about the 36th President of the United States.

All these collectible are inside a grey display folder that is composed of a soft-touch material.
