US Mint Limited Edition Silver Proof Set Opening Sales

Starting sales for the U.S. Mint’s Limited Edition Silver Proof Set were published, revealing customers ordered 19,290 between November 27 and December 3, 2012. In all, 50,000 sets may be ordered, leaving more than 30,000 still up for grabs at $149.95 each.

The United States Mint today started taking orders for its final silver product of the year, the 2012 Limited Edition Silver Proof Set. Restricted to 50,000, the set combines issues from the 2012 Silver Proof Set with the 2012-W Proof American Silver Eagle for a total of eight silver coins.
