2013-P Mount Rushmore 5 Ounce Silver Uncirculated Coin Sold Out

When the 2013-P Mount Rushmore 5 Ounce Silver Uncirculated Coin sold out last Thursday, Dec. 12, 2013, it represented the final sellout among the 2013 America the Beautiful Five Ounce Silver Coins, in both bullion and collector qualities.
2013-P Mount Rushmore Silver Uncirculated Coins sold out, but their final sales may end at a different level than expected
The sellout was anticipated, and some may have estimated the final mintage would be 25,000, but according to the latest US Mint sales stats, the Mount Rushmore silver coin was shy of that number by more than a thousand. Even surprising still was the fact that its total decreased by 143 between Sunday, Dec. 8 and Sunday, Dec. 15. As it stands now, 23,331 sold successfully.
As for the quickest moving collectible silver product, the 2013 Silver Proof Set, its sales shot up by 9,915 during the week. Its new total at 399,772 exceeded that of the 2012-dated set, which was last reported at 395,443.
The other big seller of the week was probably the newly released 2013 Limited Edition Silver Proof Set, but its debut sales total was not published in this round. The set, featuring one 2013-W Proof American Silver Eagle Coin and seven other silver coins of smaller denominations, debuted on Thursday, Dec. 12, 2013. When sales of last year’s set started, its opening number was 19,290.
