The latest US Mint sales figures revealed silver coins are back on track. American Silver Eagles rebounded from absent demand and sets came in higher.

2011 Silver Eagle Bullion Coins Debut

The United States Mint on Monday, January 3, began selling the 2011 Silver Eagle bullion coin through its network of Authorized Purchasers.

US Mint Sales: 2010 Proof Silver Eagles Sell Out

Fewer silver coin products sold during Christmas week, the latest US Mint sales figures show. Proof Silver Eagles and Bullion Silver Eagles did not advance at all, but the Proof Silver Eagles sold out this week. As reported earlier, the just released America the Beautiful Silver Bullion Coins sold out as well.

Authorized Purchasers Order All 2010 America the Beautiful Silver Bullion Coins

Authorized Purchasers have taken all 165,000 of the 2010 America the Beautiful Silver Bullion Coins, the United States Mint reported Monday.

9 out of the 11 United States Mint AP’s placed their orders for the new 3-inch, 5-ounce silver strikes. The final batch of 23,000 America the Beautiful Silver Bullion Coins™ which had not been sold as of last Monday are gone. They were pulled from the "cache" of the 2 Authorized Purchasers who chose not to participate in reselling the silver coins and allocated them to the 9 who will. Read More…

2011 Silver Proof Sets Launch January 25

The United States Mint has published the release dates for the 14-coin 2011 Silver Proof Set and its two other major annual products for the year, the 2011 Proof Set and uncirculated 2011 Mint Set.

In an email update Thursday, the US Mint invited customers to join its subscription service by January 4 to receive the products automatically following their launch. A delay after the 4th likely means a new subscription would kick-in only for 2012 issues, and require collectors to order each of the 2011 sets when they are individually released. Read More…

US Mint Sales: ATB Silver Bullion Coins Near Sell Out

Sales figures from the US Mint show that Authorized Purchasers have ordered nearly all of the available America the Beautiful Silver Bullion Coins.

The AP’s took 67,000 more of the 2010 America the Beautiful 5 Ounce Silver Bullion Coins, which leaves 23,000 out of the 165,000 coins that the Mint said that they would produce for investors.
