2015 Unc. Silver Eagles Open at 127,872

Within four days the United States Mint sold 127,872 of the newly released 2015-W Uncirculated American Silver Eagle coins, the latest sales chart revealed.
Collectors snapped up more of the new uncirculated coin in the early going than in recent years.

2015-W Uncirculated Silver Eagle for Collectors

At noon ET today, March 26, the United States Mint will introduce the collectible 2015-W Uncirculated American Silver Eagle for $39.95. Pricing is $4 less than when last year’s coin launched, which was in April, but back then silver was also several dollars higher.

This may be March of 2015, and the U.S. Mint had already released nine 2015-dated silver coin products, but consumers let it be known that they would still buy a fresh new set that contained 2014-dated coins no matter how late it launched.
The 2014 Limited Edition Silver Proof Set scored the strongest weekly sales among U.S. Mint silver products.
