The 2012 Annual Uncirculated Dollar Coin Set, containing a 2012-W Uncirculated Silver Eagle along with five other clad dollars, advanced by 1,606 during its first full week of availability. Combined with its initial sales, the total number of sets purchased by collectors crept up to 6,547.

Sales of the last silver set, the 2012 Making American History Coin and Currency Set, started quicker than the Annual Uncirculated Dollar Coin Set

Lions Clubs International Commemorative Coin Act Nearing Law

Commemorative coins recognizing the centennial of Lions Club International are closing in on reality.
The U.S. House of Representatives just passed its version (H.R. 2139) of the Lions Clubs International Century of Service Commemorative Coin Act on September 10, 2012 and the U.S. Senate passed its version (S. 1299) on July 26, 2012.
Now, one of the nearly identical bills need only be approved in both the House and Senate and get signed by the President to become law. That should happen within weeks. Read More…
