Yellowstone America the Beautiful Silver Bullion Coin

The United States Mint today did not release the five debuting 2010 America the Beautiful 5 Ounce Silver Bullion Coins as it originally planned.

The US Mint decided instead to postpone their launch in response to customer concerns surrounding their availability and, most importantly, the premiums being levied by sellers of the silver coins.

The United States Mint announced last week that the 2010 America the Beautiful Silver Bullion Coins™ would be available to order by its purchaser network beginning today, December 6. That news was welcomed by many who have been anxiously awaiting their release. Read More…

Legislation authorizing the US Mint to strike American Palladium Eagle coins was approved Tuesday by the U.S. Senate and has been sent to the desk of President Barack Obama to await his expected signature.

The coin legislation was originally introduced by United States House of Representative member Denny Rehberg (R) from Montana to add bullion and collector proof and uncirculated Palladium Eagle coins to the US Mint’s product offerings. Currently, the US Mint strikes American Gold Eagles, American Silver Eagles and American Platinum Eagles.

The United States Mint today announced a release date for the long anticipated 2010 America the Beautiful Silver Bullion Coins. Along with that release date, the US Mint also indicated the maximum mintage for the strikes and, much to the delight of collectors, confirmed the production of a collector grade version of the series.

The US Mint today announced that it accidentally deleted a portion of early orders for its recently released 2010 American Silver Eagle Proof Coins.
