2015-P Blue Ridge Parkway Silver Coin Sales Begin at 15,295

The collectible 2015-P Blue Ridge Parkway Five Ounce Silver Uncirculated Coin debuted a week ago Tuesday, July 7, and reached sales of 15,295 by Sunday, United States Mint figures reveal.

This figure is slightly lower than initial results of the previous release in the series, the Kisatchie silver coin, which opened in April at 15,622.

In related news, sales resumed on Monday for the bullion Blue Ridge Parkway silver coin. It temporarily sold out on the same day it debuted, June 22. Sales on Monday increased 5,700 to 40,700.

The big mover of the week was the 2015-W Proof American Silver Eagle. Collectors scooped up 23,079. Their new sales total is now at 451,528.
